SNEDA Entrepreneur Corps Position Descriptions
(1) Fundraising Developer Specialist
Identifies potential grant opportunties and applies for grants. May also assist in event planning and developing our marketing plan.
(1) SNEDA Finance Officer Specialist
Identifies and uses all available financial networks and resources to aid start-ups or business expansions leading to jobs for low income people; strengthens SNEDA’s loan and equity pools through grantwriting and presentations; assists potential borrowers with packaging and ongoing financial consultation; services loans and establishes ongoing documentation procedures necessary to preserve SNEDA and partner interests
(1) SNEDA Business Development Specialist
Provides technical assistance with quantifiable outcomes to existing businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs within SNEDA service area; uses team approach with other SNEDA personnel to tackle complex business problems; makes referrals to business support organizations and assists with loan requests; networks to further objectives of SNEDAs business plan; establishes and uses tracking system for various activities
(3) SNEDA Neighborhood Business Liasons
Maintains an outreach presence within low-income neighborhoods and their related community center(s); conducts walking tours and attends pertinent neighborhood meetings; provides technical assistance with quantifiable outcomes to existing businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs; uses a team approach with other SNEDA personnel to tackle complex business problems; assists development of neighborhood business organizations
