Season's Greetings from SNEDA December 2003 Newsletter
Board approves 2004 budget The Board of Directors approved SNEDA's 2004 operational budget of $320,000 on Dec. 16. Since beginning operations in mid-2002, SNEDA has given technical assistance to 131 businesses. That's a figure that will continue to climb in the coming year.
Web site gets fresh look It's now easier to get information about SNEDA online. The SNEDA Web site, http://www.sneda.org, was redesigned this month to make it easier to navigate and update and to display more features. The redesign effort was led by Angie Huang, a SNEDA AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer. To help us serve you better, please participate in the online survey about our new site.
SNEDA says goodbye to Susan Devan No AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer at SNEDA has worked as closely with Spokane entrepreneurs as Susan Devan. Devan, a member of SNEDA's inaugural contingent of VISTA volunteers, will leave her position this month to study and work part-time at Eastern Washington University. Working a bit less, Devan said, will allow her to spend more time with her husband, David Kaplan, and their 5-year-old daughter Sydney. Click here to read more...
