SNEDA Closes Loan with Community Frameworks

SNEDA closed a loan on February 2nd where Community Frameworks, a nonprofit affordable housing developer, borrowed $320,000 to buy land on which to develop a 78 unit affordable senior housing complex. The Bank of Whitman is in first position, SNEDA in second with a loan of $25,000, and the seller of the land in third.  SNEDA used the investment made in SNEDA by Banner Bank to effect the SNEDA loan. more>

As of 02/24/05, JR Sloan, SNEDA’s Business Consultant has accepted 52 new cases for Technical Assistance, Consultation, or Loan Assistance since September 2004. more>

SNEDA has an annual financial audit (since 2002) and a 6-monthly performance audit (the performance audits cover the period dating back to September 2002). Among other tests, our performance evaluator selects at random from the entrepreneurs with whom we have worked and interviews them. more>
