SNEDA’s Favorite Newlyweds Leave Spokane
Angela and Adam Lausche, whose marriage was featured in this newsletter last fall, are leaving Spokane to embark on new adventures.  Angie will be leaving behind her SNEDA position, after three years, first as a Volunteer In Service to America (VISTA), then as Office Manager.  This will be their last week in Spokane. more>

On May 24th  2006 the Washington State Microenterprise Association (WSMA) held its quarterly regional meeting in Spokane. The meeting, entitled “Cultivating Rural Microenterprise” focused on serving rural microentrepreneurs. more>

The CDFI Data Project (CDP), an industry collaborative that produces data about community development financial institutions (CDFIs), has released a new publication Community Development Financial Institutions: Providing Capital, Building Communities, Creating Impact that analyses fiscal year (FY) 2004 data from 517 CDFIs, one of the largest data sets ever collected in the CDFI industry. more>
