SNEDA thanks the Department of the Treasury - CDFI, the Department of Health & Human Services - ACF - OCS, Bank of America, Banner Bank, Sterling Savings Bank, Avista Corp., WAMU, the Corporation for National and Community Service, HSBC/National Center for Neighborhood Enterprise, Robert & Kellee Daugherty, U. S. Bank, HollisterStier Laboratories, F & M Bank and Inland Northwest Community Foundation - Buder Memorial Fund # 2 for their financial contributions to economic development in Spokane's community development neighborhoods.
- Closing joint loan with a bank for $255,000 to a nonprofit, based in Walla Walla, to acquire a building in which to provide 20 to 24 units of affordable elderly housing.
Loan commitments made:
- $25,000 to a business in Spokane’s East Central neighborhood for working capital. The business currently has two owners and four employees.
- Closing $132,000 loan to a nonprofit, based in Spokane’s Nevada Lidgerwood neighborhood, as part of a $412,000 loan to acquire land to build 78 units of affordable elderly housing.
